Described as the "strongest, smartest and most capable" pickups in the company's history, the models have an evolutionary design which is rather conservative but makes them instantly recognizable.

Inside, there's a nearly vertical dashboard which is broken up by a massive control interface and a six-gauge instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch Driver Information Center. 

MyLink infotainment system and a variety of connectivity options (including five USB ports, four 12-volt outlets and an SD card slot).

Under the hood, three new EcoTec3 engines will be available: a 4.3-liter V6, a 5.3-liter V8 and a 6.2-liter V8.

M6 Grancoupe has aggressive body kit with a new front bumper, new side skirts and a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) rear diffuser. There's also a CFRP roof, Shadow Line trim, a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Interior equipped with Merino leather seats, an M steering wheel, illuminated sill plates and an Alcantara roof liner. Options include M multifunction seats, GPS navigation and a Bang & Olufsen audio system.

Power comes out twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that develops 560 HP and 680 Nm. It is connected to a 7-speed M Double Clutch Transmission which enables the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.2 sec and limited top speed of 250 km/h or 305 km/h with the optional M Driver’s Package. In terms of efficiency, the model averages 9.9 L/100km (28.5 mpg UK / 23.7 mpg US).

The M6 GranCoupe will go on sale in Germany in May and pricing starts at €128,800.

Length is 4,641mm ,wheelbase measures 2,810mm which is longer than current 3-Series coupe.

0-100km/h in 3.9sec and top speed of 250km/h, 280km/h with optional Dynamic package, 305km/h with optional Dynamic plus package. (9.8L/100km (24mpg)).

Will be launched next summer in U.K.
