2006년 SCC concept 를 바탕으로 디자인한 C30 이 단종되었다.

Mercedes Benz 는 며칠 이내로 SL65AMG를 시장에 내놓을 것이며 구매가 가능할 것이라고 발표했다.

이 차량의 Engine  은 AMG V12 6.0-liter bi-turbo 이며 621hp의 출력을 내며 토크는 1000Nm 에서 제한시킨다. 변속기는 AMG speedshift plus 7G-Tronic 에 연결되며 efficiency, sport, sport plus 모드를 지원한다.

0-100km/h 에는 4초가 걸리며 최고속도는 250km/h 에서 제한된다. 기존모델에 비해 연비는 17% 향상되었다.
